Jane from Lisburn September 2016
I organised my sisters hen party at the farm. Well actually Teresa helped enormously. She made it so easy for me, fine tuning and tailoring the activity and the budget til we got it just perfect. We stayed at a local B&B the night before arriving "fresh" for the dancing activity. The tutor (Marie) put us through our paces, learning to jive and waltz for the big day! an hour and a half later we were effortlessly grooving to Nathan Carter and Mumford and sons. A stunning Vintage afternoon tea with champers IN THE GARDEN, it was a beautiful day, followed by games and then back to the B&B to get glammed up for a big night out on the town. All looking forward to showing off our moves at the wedding.

When my best pal said I was going to a farm I was honestly terrified. So when we arrived in the yard, out popped Teresa in her pristine apron, followed by the smell of fresh scones coming out of the door after her, I knew it would be ok! Soon we were all in our aprons, cooking up a storm. We had a unique farm version of the infamous bake off. It worked even for some of the hens who would make chocolate crispie buns look difficult. There was time for tipples and games and off we went on the bus to our hotel, loaded with buns and sweet memories.
Gillian from Portadown March 2016
My mother actually organised the hen party! She ended up crying at the end of the day, she had so much fun and she loved that I loved it ALL...every moment. Her and my aunties bought a load of jam from the farm shop too! We danced the legs of ourselves and eat so much delicious goodies for afternoon tea, it was magic. I highly highly recommend.
Naomi from Portaferry [ JAN 2016] had to say,
“Teresa; (Orchard Acre Farm, Farmer) has her finger on the pulse of “What’s on” in Fermanagh. Not only did she make us feel like we were the only hen party ever to walk through her door, her attention to detail created a truly memorable weekend for the hens.” She made my job as the hen party organiser so much easier. AND THE ROARING FIRE IN THE BARN'S BIG KITCHEN BIG STOVE MADE A BLEAK JANUARY DAY OUTSIDE SEEM FAR AWAY.
What Claire from Letterkenny NOV 2015 had to say,
“Orchard Acre Farm “Peckage’s” are poles apart from slot machine /conveyor belt type hen venues we first considered, where we realised our purses would just empty; Not all the hens in our group could afford that. Teresa discreetly tailor made the action (an evening of supper plus acoustic karaoke), we kept within budget and she helped us stick to it. With the BYOB it worked out such unbelievable value. We all had as absolute ball! ”
What Gail from Lurgan; May 2014 had to say,
“We arrived on mass, a group of 22 by bus for the day including the whole female wedding party, pink cowgirl hats and satin sashs to boot! I had no idea what was in store. My organiser (best friend Abbey) looked relaxed and I trusted that she would have chosen a place that really suited ME. We had super fun with 2 activities, jewellery making (my choice) and dancing lessons (totally essential my choice too as I have never danced before). The food was brilliant and the tea urn never cooled. I have never laughed so much.”
What Emma from Sligo; Nov 2014 had to say,
I wanted to organise my own hen part with NO surprises. Teresa made that easy. I am a chocolate addict and we spent the loveliest morning creating heavenly chocolate goodies to take home. The place was intimate, private with aid of a few bubbles over a gorgeous lunch we had such a lovely time…..my girl friends and I still talk about our day.”
What Liz from Moira, Co Down; April 2014 had to say,
My hen organiser assured me there would be NO bunny ears. Other than that I only knew we were going to a farm in Fermanagh. What a lovely surprise. We had the exclusive use of a beautiful barn, that was so tastefully decorated. We booked a three course lunch with dancing tutor afterwards. My mum had a ball too, we all did. I left looking forward to the first dance to show off my new dance moves”
What Katie from Navan ; March 2014 has to say.
Navan town has become a meca for boozy hen parties. I wanted to escape, but didn't want the hassle of flying away. My best friend and brides maid Lisa, saw the farm featured in a bridal magazine. We opted for Italian cooking, including making sausages and pasta. What a hoot, and what fabulous food. There was 14 of us and we stayed at a local B&B. Cooking all done, we got glammed up and came back to the Eco Barn for our own private dinner party. We boogied to the wee hours its was just perfect.
